SUNDAY 14 JUNE 2026 from 1pm to 5.30pm
There are 17 gardens open this year. Details of the gardens and a map can be found in the top menu.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Wallingford charities
Many gardens provide refreshments — teas and cakes, wine, Pimm’s, strawberries and cream and delicious savouries. Short boat trips on the Thames are available, several gardens include stalls and Morris dancers will be touring some of the gardens.
See the About the Event page for more details.
Only assistance dogs are permitted.
A visit to Root One is always a pleasure, especially for plants, shrubs, seedlings and bulbs etc. But anything we need for the garden is there, including tools, equipment, compost and fertiliser. Where would we be without it?
As well as financial support Root One help us by selling our event tickets and with publicity.
The gardening section at Champions includes a wide variety of tools, seeds, lawn treatment, pest control, fertilisers and wild bird food. But Champions is so much more, with extensive ranges of hardware, kitchenware, electrical appliances and home products.
Champions have given us generous financial support.
PC Technicians, run by Steve Wicks (Unit B, The Croft), provides a wide range of computer services, installation, configuration and repairs and also supplies a variety of products, including keyboards, mice, bags, cables, ink cartridges and paper.
Steve is amazing and has been of great assistance to us with all our computing needs, designing and running the website and preparing posters, brochures and maps.
PureBoating (next to Wallingford Bridge) hires out electric boats to the public but has kindly provided us with a boat and skipper for the day, operating boat trips from Middle Wharf (garden 12).
