WALLED GARDENS
OF WALLINGFORD

SUNDAY 8 JUNE 2025

TIME & PLACE

Sunday 8 June 2025, 13:00 – 17:30
11 Wood Street, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, OX10 0BD

WELCOME TO THE  WALLED GARDENS OF WALLINGFORD 2025

There are 13 gardens open this year - three for the first time and two others are returning from 2023. Details of the gardens and a map can be found in the top menu.

Many of the gardens provide refreshments – teas and cakes, glasses of wine, a Pimm’s or strawberries and cream.

Short boat trips on the Thames are available from garden 10 and there are a number of stalls to browse in some gardens. See the 'About the event' page for more details.

We are sorry but only assistance dogs are permitted.

BUY TICKETS

Tickets are £7 if bought in advance at Root One Garden Centre or KP Stationers in the Market Place, or online through this website (for a small charge, collect tickets on the day at the desk opposite 11 Wood Street).

A limited number will be available on the day for £9 (cash or card) at 13 Wood Street. Children are free. Tickets cover entry to all the gardens but teas, Pimm’s and boat trips are extra.

ABOUT THE CHARITIES

All the proceeds from the day will be donated to local charities.
The principal charity we are supporting is Style Acre, based at Howbery Park. The charity enhances the lives of people with learning disabilities and autism. One aspect of their work is Green Acre Garden Maintenance, established to provide work opportunities and training for the people the charity supports. As gardeners, we know the therapeutic value of gardening.

We will also be contributing to various Wallingford charities. Wallingford's Corn Exchange is today at the heart of arts and culture in the town, providing the town's principal venue for theatre, live shows and cinema - all entirely volunteer-run - and a home for the Sinodun Players. We are also supporting Wallingford Museum, the League of Friends of Wallingford Hospital and St Mary’s Church (where major roof repairs are needed)..

SPONSORS

We are very grateful to all our sponsors for their generous support
