About The Event

There are 17 gardens open this year. Three are open for the first time and three more are returning from 2024, not open last year. All are in a compact area of old Wallingford. Several properties are of historical or architectural interest and three are on the River Thames. Details of the gardens and a map can be found on the top menu.

Many of the gardens are small so you can easily see all the gardens on the day. You can dally with a glass of wine or Pimm’s or a cup of tea and cake, and take a relaxing trip on the river (see below). Several gardens have stalls for you to browse and enjoy. The Wallingford Morris dancers will be visiting a number of gardens – locations will be available nearer the time.

A guided tour of St Leonard’s Church is available with a wildlife tour in the churchyard. St Peter’s Church and its churchyard are also open.

We hope you have a wonderful afternoon.

We are sorry but only assistance dogs are permitted.
